We have received Adelie's information!
We can share this information and pictures after we receive pre-approval (PA) from China to adopt this specific child. From this point, it will probably be 4-6 months until we can travel to bring her home. I like to think 3 months. 
We're very excited - she is from the Waiting Child list and she does have a very managable, non-life-threatening health need, which will be able to be monitored here in the states. We've very happy and can hardly wait to post her picture here!!! She's cute!
The process at this point:
| LOI | (8/31)We submit Letter of Intent | telling China that we want THIS child |
| PA | We await Pre-Approval | China pre-approving us for THIS child |
| LOA | We await, sign and return Letter Seeking Confirmation | Confirming that we still want to adopt THIS child |
| TA | We await Travel Confirmation | We can then make travel arrangements |
| Travel | Usually 2-4 weeks after TA | |
| trip to bring her home usually 14 days |
