Adelie gets glasses
Hi!
Things are going very well. The weather is getting better and that means we get to play outside more. We went to the Cincinnati Natural History Museum last week and spent 2 hours in the sandbox - what fun!! We also went through the ice cave 3 times. Adelie got her pink glasses today. They are blanks - she has them just to protect her left eye. And she enjoys wearing them (so far). She doesn't HAVE to wear them, but it's a good idea, especially if "doing anything that might be dangerous to her eyes, like some sports."

She looks just precious in her glasses. I can't believe how long her hair is and how grown up she looks.

So, they're sortof a just-in-case measure?
It is weird that I enjoy wearing my own glasses, and how I look in them, even though my correction is so weak I don't strictly /need/ to wear them?

Love IT - we got our daughter Lydia "Mei Yan" in January 2002. Had to wear glasses for a couple of years too! & Pink! A good website for China resources is called "chinasprout" books, videos, games, educational and fun stuff too. But you probably knew about this already.
